I’m a professional photographer who is always looking for inspiration and new ways to expand my work.

I came across Lighting Techniques for Beauty and Glamour Photography and it offers the kind of inspiration I’m looking for. I don’t have a lot of time to read these days and this book is written in a completely approachable, direct style and the exercises are short and straight to the point. It works well as a workbook to have at the studio. I pick it up sometimes before a shoot to get ideas and envision how I’m going to light.

This book is so useful; I decided to get Grey’s previous book, Advanced Lighting Techniques. Both books offer great lighting ideas that I can use to expand my own style

“Advanced Lighting Techniques, Tricks of the Trade for Digital Photographers” is an essential tool for photographers looking to achieve what they now just dream about. All photographers want their work to clearly distinguish us from our competition. Any one of the twenty five chapters could provide the tool to do this and alone would be worth the price of admission. I highly recommend this latest book from Christopher Grey. If you are just starting out or have not read his earlier books, check out: Master Lighting Guide for Portrait Photographers or Christopher Grey’s Studio Lighting Techniques for Photography: Tricks of the Trade for Professional Digital Photographers
